About Griffin

What is Shaded Areas?

It’s a mindset as far as I’m concerned. It’s also a goofy math reference. It’s also how a black and white image is cognitively sorted. More importantly than all this… it’s a widely unused title that I’ve totally called dibs on. I use it to represent my brand of illustration and design. My goal is for you to one day be able to type “Shaded Areas” into your google browser and have this site pop right to the top of the list.

Who are you?

Some people call me the space cowboy. Some people call me the gangster of love. Some people call me Maurice. However, the people who call me Maurice don’t know me very well. If they did the’d probably call me Griffin. I mean… that is my name after all.

I was born at a young age and grew up in the city of Boston. Not a suburb of Boston. Not a town bordering Boston. Boston. Somehow, due to the first of many anomalous developments in my life, I have evaded the curse of the Boston accent and am very happy to have been smiled upon by the gods of enunciation.

Over my life I’ve collected a wide array of contradictory traits which somehow have been turned into benefits. In the end I have developed a very high aptitude for communication, spatial awareness, pattern recognition and comprehension of human behavior. This combination of traits makes me good at a lot of things but what I enjoy most if the fabrication of images, which I’m sure you’ve realized by now.

That’s about who I am in a nutshell. Anything else you think you need to know you probably don’t aside from the fact that I’m prompt, reliable and good in a pinch. I’m confident that anyone who has hired me in the past will vouch for that.
