Guess who has more news, apologies and excuses and two thumbs? This guy! (that would work way better if you could see me pointing at myself with my thumbs.)

First off let me announce that Season 1 of 664 - The Neighbor of the Beast has recently been concluded. I suggest you all go check out all 20 episodes (as well as the bonus holiday episode) by going over to www.lazyhorde.com and showing them some love. They’ve earned it. I think they whole series is quite genius. (I’m not just saying that because they know where I live either.)

Also… if you haven’t already gone and listened to my first attempt at co-hosting a podcast you should. Head over to www.painful-addictions.com and listen to episode 21. We review Wanted, Hancock and then yap about Joker’s Asylum #1 and the disappointing wrap up of the Dark Tower: The Long Road Home mini series. We should be recording episode #22 tomorrow some time but don’t expect it to be published until Saturday or Sunday.

Anyways… what’s keeping my comics from coming out at a reasonable hour of their due dates this week? (besides going out dancing Tuesday at 8:30 when I should’ve been getting the comic done and not getting to it until 3am Wednesday morning after I got back.)

I’ve been getting a lot of much needed socializing done this week. Between the 4th weekend, some friends going away parties, new movies and going out dancing (as mentioned) for the first time in weeks… I’ve been a metaphorical butterfly (papilionoidea socialus).

In any event I have just taken a total dive and thrown a whole lot of money I don’t have into a last minute and hasty trip to San Diego Comic Con with the core intention of pitching my graphic novel, hawking my talents and promoting the web comic I have a bad habit of neglecting. Unfortunately I have 2 weeks to do about 2 months of work, including but not limited to: getting the 5 remaining 9 x 11 character profile sheets illustrated, properly formatting a presentable script and plot summary, penciling and preferably inking the first 5 full 11 x 17 pages of the comic, completely laying out the entire first issue/chapter in intended size format, creating and printing 600+ handouts to promote the web comic , printing about 8 - 10 other pieces in 11 x 17 format and buying a portfolio book to fit all of this stuff.

I have less than two weeks to do all that. That doesn’t even include my full time day job, the podcast I’ve mentioned above and then trying to keep you folks entertained for 90 seconds every few days.

A busy busy bee is me.
