I’ve finished a couple pieces this weekend. My first entry to Project : Rooftop for their Vampirella Revamp and the other is a portrait of Ming Doyle, an amazing illustrator.

First up let’s take a look at my Vampirella stuff. The first image is the concept scratchboard and the second was the final entry. Wish me luck on this. It’s quite a difficult contest.

Next up is my Ming Doyle portrait. I’m not really much for “fan art” but I like doing illustrations of people who strike me well. Ming not only brought Project : Rooftop’s existence to my attention but has been dominating their competitions for quite a spell. (She thankfully told me she’s not participating this round. Once you go see her stuff you’ll understand why that’s good for me.) Anyways… here’s that image.

Oh and obviously the self portrait on the front page is new also. I needed something to replace the web comics.
