Roland, Lord of Beacon, is negotiating alliances against The Modifiers, a death cult of Auditor wannabes who wish to reset the world.
Malcom, the Archfae Govener of Risenfahl, is sending Cleara, former adjudicator of Divine Shadow, as a decisive wallfacer along with Locke as her cipher.
The party is being sent as Cleara's entourage, tasked with assessing factions and providing Cleara as much information as they can to allow her to make the best assessment. She is to be supported in any request or action, no matter how strange it seems.
The alliance rally is to be attended by various tribes, guilds, gangs, and factions from across the continent, some from across the Western sea.

DM Approach:
- The world and key events are laid out.
- A timeline of events if the party does nothing exists.
- This includes an "invisible team" that the PCs will never meet but they are running parallel, changing the parts of the world the PCs doesn't.
- Rules and conflict litigation - In the moment, I will hand wave a "meh" resolution with a "real solve" later rather than stopping the game cold to work out the details.
- We will have a 90m Session 0 before to get the bumpers up. If stress, pressure, or discomfort enters in later... you can always call for a Session 00 or 000 to reinforce those bumpers and protect your comfort and enjoyment.
